Flight to Ivalo. Reception and transfer to Saariselkä. Discovery of the chalet and its surroundings.

DAY
DISCOVERY WALK OF URHO KEKKONEN NATIONAL PARK
Stroll in the national park where the morning frost will gradually give way to the colors of autumn. Urho Kekkonen Park, named after a former Finnish president, is home to a variety of landscapes and wildlife, including large mammals (bears, elks) and many birds. Then you discovered Lake Saimaa. From a climax, you can observe the boreal forest and its changing colors. Meal in the heart of nature. Discovery of the surroundings and location of places allowing the observation of the aurora at night. In the evening, theoretical explanations on the natural phenomenon of the Northern Lights and technical advice for photographing them.

WALK IN THE HEART OF THE BOREALE FOREST
Direction south of Saariselkä to visit another national park. This walk will take you to the heart of the taiga which stretches for hundreds of kilometers around: a breathtaking view of the surroundings. You will be able to observe the riches of this set of ecosystems so particular.

VISIT OF THE SÁMI MUSEUM
You will discover the Sámi culture in this museum dedicated to the Lapp people located in Inari. The municipality of Inari and its surroundings is one of the largest Sámi communities in Finland with around 2000 inhabitants. You will discover the history, organization and rites of this indigenous people whose first traces date back to 11000 BC. AD Subsequently you will discover Finnish Lapland with immense wild areas, forests, hills and groves. After the visit, take a stroll around the area to spot the best spots for viewing the aurora in the evening.
